The majority of the slopes face north east so the snow stays longer providing better conditions throughout the season from december through march. There are 45 runs covering 62km, Snowboard park and areas where you can try off piste skiing.
Night-skiing? The Sierra Nevada resort where you can ski longer than anywhere else in Europe also offers visitors the chance to ski at night. The main run, El Rio back down to the village is open on Saturday nights. The slope is 3km long and has a vertical drop of 545m.
